🎧 Team Playlist Build

Create a collaborative Spotify playlist. Each person adds 2 songs and drops a one-line “why” in a team Slack thread — a song from a road trip, a track they played on repeat during college, their walk-up song.

Why it keeps working for months: it’s async, there’s no meeting, and new hires get a low-stakes way to participate in culture on day one. Surprisingly often, it becomes the Friday afternoon background music people actually use.

Setup: 10 minutes to create the playlist, pin it to a Slack channel, and post the prompt. New hires add their 2 songs as part of onboarding.
