Our improv workshops are designed to be highly interactive, energizing, and immediately applicable to teams of all kinds. This session combines fun and team building while tapping into skills like creative thinking, brainstorming, presenting ideas, and confident communication.
Every session is fully live and facilitated over Zoom by Emmy-nominated TV and radio host Scott Topper. This is not a webinar. Everyone participates in real time with continuous engagement throughout. No improv experience needed. Everything is beginner-friendly, and we create a safe, low-pressure environment where people can jump in at their own pace. Cameras on, participate as you are comfortable.
How the Session Flows
Our improv session combines fun and team building while also tapping into skills like creative thinking, brainstorming, and presenting ideas. We typically run 60-minute live sessions over Zoom, led by live host Scott Topper (a 3x Emmy-nominated TV and radio personality), and everything is built to feel more like a shared experience than a traditional training.
Sessions usually start with a quick warm-up to get everyone comfortable and loosen up the group dynamic. From there, we move into a series of fast-paced improv exercises that build on one another.
These exercises often include:
- "Yes, And..." collaboration games to strengthen idea-building and brainstorming
- Storytelling exercises that sharpen creative thinking and presentation skills
- Listening and response activities that help teams communicate more clearly and spontaneously
- Light performance-style games that encourage confidence and quick thinking
Everything is designed to be beginner-friendly, and we create a safe, low-pressure environment where people can jump in at their own pace. What makes the sessions especially valuable for creative teams is how directly the skills translate. Improv naturally reinforces idea generation, adaptability, and building on others' thoughts, all key to brainstorming and pitching work. Teams often leave feeling more connected, more open, and more confident sharing ideas.
How Interactive Is It?
Very interactive. This is one of the biggest differentiators.
- Fully live and facilitated (not a webinar) — everyone participates in real time over Zoom
- Continuous engagement — participants are actively involved throughout, not just observing
- Fast-paced format — exercises rotate quickly to keep energy high
- Low-pressure participation — designed for beginners, so no one is forced into uncomfortable "spotlight" moments
- Group + small interactions — a mix of full-team activities and smaller pair/group exercises
It is "learning by doing," not listening. Participants are constantly practicing skills rather than hearing about them.
How It Feels in Practice
- More like a fun, guided experience than a training session
- High-energy, lots of laughter, quick transitions between exercises
- Practical takeaways tied directly to leadership, communication, and collaboration
- Immediate application to real work scenarios (presenting, brainstorming, team dynamics)
